Which Schaeffer oil is best to use in Harley Davidson Transmission

I want to start using Schaeffer oil for my Harley transmission oil Harkey.  I am wondewring which oil is better to use in the transmission. I read all over the Harley forums that you can use either a gear oil or a staright weight SAE 50.  What do you recommend I use in the transmission? I have no problem using the #707 20W-50 in the engine and primary, but what do you recommend for the transmission? Any other information related to this would be greatly appreciated and thank you too for your time.

Answer:

There are three choices for the transmission oil depending on your model as follows:

Transmission: Twin Cam, Evo, Ironhead, Sportster, V-Rod
Recommendation: #707 Schaeffer Supreme V-Twin Synthetic Plus 20W-50

Transmission: Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead
Recommendation: #110 Schaeffer Micron Moly Racing Oil SAE 50 or #214s Schaeffer Supreme One For All 80W-140   The 214S is great for extended drain intervals if you are in to saving time, money and hel;ping the environment.
